At TOTAL TOOTH TREATMENT AKASAKA, we pay extra attention to alleviating any pain or discomfort not only when administering local anesthesia before treatment but also throughout the entire procedure.
Our Commitment to Pain-Free Treatment
Dedication to Surface Anesthesia

Anesthesia is often perceived as painful and intimidating, but we take measures to minimize discomfort. Surface anesthesia helps reduce the pain from the needle prick.
By applying a surface anesthetic to the mucous membrane where the injection will be administered, we can numb the area.
We carefully apply the surface anesthesia with the appropriate amount and time measurement to ensure effective local anesthesia.
Both gel and tape forms of surface anesthesia are used.
Dedication to Automatic Anesthesia Injection

One of the factors contributing to pain during anesthesia injections is the speed and pressure of the anesthetic fluid being administered. We use an automatic anesthesia injector, “ORASTAR,” which allows us to inject the anesthetic fluid at a controlled speed and pressure, minimizing pain.
Dedication to the Use of the Heater

Cold anesthetic fluid can increase pain during injection.
To address this, we use a heater to keep the anesthetic fluid at a temperature close to body temperature. This helps reduce discomfort and pain during administration.
Dedication to Fine Needle

We use the thinnest needle available for dental procedures, 33G (gauge). By using a finer needle, we can avoid sensitive pain points.
Please Feel Free to Request Anesthesia
Pain is a very delicate sensation and varies greatly between individuals. If you have a preference for anesthesia, please let us know, and we will accommodate your request.
Some patients have had experiences where they were told anesthesia was unnecessary but still felt pain. Please do not hesitate to let us know your concerns.
Our Commitment to Minimizing Pain

At our clinic, we are fully dedicated to “providing pain-free treatment”. We approach this goal with utmost sincerity and commitment.
We understand that dental treatments often involve areas that are not visible to the patient, which can naturally cause anxiety and fear. In such circumstances, experiencing pain adds significant stress.
To minimize this stress, we take every possible measure to ensure that our patients do not experience pain during their treatments.
Many of our current patients express their satisfaction by saying, “This is completely different from my previous dental treatments” and “I did not feel any pain at all.” This feedback highlights one of the key features of our clinic.
